Host Employer Training Arrangements (including School Based Part-Time Traineeships)

Where an employer proposes to place an apprentice or trainee with a host employer from the commencement of the apprenticeship or traineeship, the name and address of the initial host employer must be included on the Training Contract. This requirement includes part-time school based trainees placed with host employers.
The attached Vocational Training Guideline approved by the Director General on 22 March 2001 outlines this requirement.
