After consultation with industry representatives, the Commissioner for Vocational Training advises that apprentices commencing on or after 23 October 2008 and undertaking:
- SIT30807 Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
- SIT40407 Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
- SIT30907 Certificate III in Hospitality (Asian Cookery)
- SIT31107 Certificate III in Hospitality (Patisserie)
- SIT40707 Certificate IV in Hospitality (Patisserie)
should commence as first year apprentices under the award relevant to their employment.
All the conditions, including the three year nominal term, referred to in the relevant Vocational Training Orders under Commissioners Information Bulletin No. 383 remain current until further notice.
