Industrial Arrangements for school based part-time traineeships
School based part-time trainees must also be paid in accordance with an appropriate industrial arrangement.
The NTWA has been varied to provide for school based part-time trainees. This variation includes wages and conditions for the trainees. Some Federal awards have also been varied to incorporate the latest changes to the NTWA. A number of State awards have also been varied to incorporate provisions for school based part-time traineeships (for example, the clerical, retail, landscape gardening, horticulture, and sport and leisure industries).
